About Lynne Howard

When I found out I was having my first baby, 8 years ago, I was working full time as a children's pastor at a busy megachurch, and I knew I didn't want to be a sleep-deprived Mombie after my baby came along. Sleep deprivation was a big worry during my pregnancy. I knew I needed to figure out how to get my baby to sleep, so I read books and searched and asked all my friends whose babies were good sleepers how they did it. Some said it just happened, but most said it took intentionality and training, for parents and babies.
I learned as much I could before my baby was born, but babies don't necessarily follow books exactly. I experimented with different methods and discovered the secret sauce for getting my baby sleeping, and my son was sleeping 11-12 hours straight all on his own before 12 weeks old. Getting enough sleep changed my life. I felt like a new person. I had more patience, energy, better health, and an overall happier mood.
I implemented my sleep techniques with my second baby, with some tweaks based on her personality, and she was sleeping 11-12 hours straight by 9 weeks old! Friends started asking what I did, and I put my advice together into a packet and shared it with them. They started seeing great success with their babies, then a door opened for me to go through the certification process to become a certified baby and toddler sleep consultant through The Cradle Coach Academy.
After 16 years working full time in children's ministry in churches (4 of those years as a mom of young babies/toddlers), I understand the difference a good night of sleep can make whether you're a working mom, a work at home mom, and a stay at home mom, and also the value of having evenings to yourself to decompress and unwind. Sleep is still one of my favorite things to do!
When I'm not sleeping or helping other moms get more sleep, I love cooking healthy food, reading, cheering for Alabama football, and playing with my two kids. I also work as a children's ministry curriculum developer for a publisher.
As a sleep consultant, I'll empower you as a parent to take charge of your baby or toddler's sleep and get your evenings back. My methods are not cookie-cutter, but custom-made to fit your family's needs and personality. I'll be your biggest encourager, your accountability partner, your prayer support, and your coach to help your child love sleep.
We all love sleep! Let's work together to help your child love sleep too.
Let me help you get sleep again and get your evenings back!
